Exam Information
Everything you need to know about the nature of the examination, the syllabus, and the awards.
Nature of Examination
- The examination will comprise of multiple choice questions.
- Each question shall be followed by 4 choices, and a candidate will select the most appropriate choice.
- The response has to be recorded in the computer screen online in the first phase.
- There are no time limits for attempting the question paper.
- The paper shall comprise of 60 MCQs divided into six sections, which are described herein.
- On completion, students should click on submit button, else their responses will not be recorded.
Marking
Every correct response shall be awarded 4 marks, and there is no penalty for incorrect response.
Olympiad examination will be held in two rounds. In the first round, the child will attempt the question paper online from the convenience of their homes. The second round will be held at a designated examination centre (TODO: DSSD to confirm venue).
Syllabus
The examination paper will be independent of any affiliating Board of Education – whether CBSE, ICSE, or any State Board.
Students should read NCERT text books for the concerned class. The paper will be from the entire book.

Awards
- First round: Certificate of Participation or Certificate of Merit, depending on performance.
- Second round: Cash awards starting from ₹1,100 to ₹11,000.
- Number of prizes: 300.
